Known famously as plunderers to be feared as well as explorers of the seas, the Vikings were a seafaring people from the cold and harsh lands of Scandinavia, who would go on to raid, trade, and settle throughout Europe. However, for the people of Europe, the sight of Viking longships in the distance could only instill one thing - fear. Fear for their lives and for their property, as the Viking hordes raided and plundered all they could to bring back to their homeland. For almost 300 years, the Viking Age from 800 to approximately 1100 CE saw Viking dominance throughout the seas. In this war simulation, you take the role of a Viking leader at the start of this age, during the first Viking invasions of Britain. You will have to fight against British rulers and even your fellow Vikings, for money, for land, and for Glory.
