Dear Delegates, Advisors, and Partners,

My name is Stone Henderson, and I am delighted to invite you to the inaugural Sun God Model United Nations conference. This is the first collegiate conference hosted by UCSD Model United Nations, and will certainly not be our last. The conference will be held in-person from April 5th through 7th on the beautiful UCSD campus in La Jolla.

This year I hope to establish ourselves as an esteemed conference that delegates will want to return to every year. It is my goal to ensure that all delegates enjoy themselves and engage in a respectful debate that they can remember. I hope to foster a community of Model UN members who respect each other and to provide an enjoyable experience.

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has created uncertainty within the extended Model UN community. We will deal with any changes that happen from this. If any changes occur, we’ll make sure that you are aware.

Our secretariat has been working tirelessly to ensure that this will be a great experience. We look forward to seeing your debates and innovative solutions.
