NATHANIEL WOOD
SECRETARY - GENERAL
Nathaniel Wood is a fourth year microbiology major and literature - writing minor at UCSD's Marshall College. He has been in Model UN since his junior year in high school and has served in various upper secretariat positions since then. Outside of MUN, he likes to read, write, play games, and research random topics for fun.
CYRUS LIU
SECRETARY - GENERAL
Cyrus (Wesley) Liu is a current 2nd year at UCSD's Marshall College, studying in field of Political Science with a concentration in International Relations with a planned minor in Japanese and Chinese studies. He has been involved in the MUN program since freshmen year and has served as both a contestant and as deputy upper secretariat for MUN at UCSD. Outside of academics, he likes to cook, play video games, and taste different boba milk teas!
ANDREW MORRISON
DIRECTOR - GENERAL
Andrew Morrison is a 2nd year at UCSD's Marshall College, majoring in Nanoengineering. He's been a massive nerd his whole life but only started doing MUN in his freshman year. His other hobbies include building rocket engines, crying while reading textbooks about pump cavitation, and rock climbing. No, he doesn't know how he ended up in MUN either.
WILL TIPTON
UNDER - SECRETARY - GENERAL OF LOGISTICS
Will Tipton is currently a 4th year student studying Political Science with a focus on International Relations within UCSD’s Eleanor Roosevelt College. This passion focuses primarily on Europe, involving German biliteracy and Czech work experience. This is his second year involved with UCSD’s MUN team after transferring from Moorpark College in 2023, both as a competitor and an organizer. Outside of politics, he is a former farmer, collegiate Overwatch player, and real football enjoyer (soccer).
DAVID WU
UNDER - SECRETARY - GENERAL OF EXTERNAL RELATIONS
David Wu is a current 3rd year at UCSD's Sixth College majoring in Political Science with a concentration in international relations. Born and raised in San Diego where its perpetually 70 degrees; he thinks that seasons and "winter" are government conspiracies. Outside of MUN he loves to read history, draw, cycle, and play games.
FAISAL EL-KHOURI
UNDER - SECRETARY - GENERAL OF COMMITTEES
Faisal is a second year student in Warren College at UCSD working towards a Math-Computer Science major with a Cognitive Science minor. He was born and raised in Amman, Jordan, where he started his MUN career. After 4 years of high school MUN, and a year in university MUN, he is now on his 6th year of MUN. When he isn’t studying, he often finds himself playing various indie games (especially Hades!) and watching F1 races.
AJ RETONEL
DEPUTY UNDER - SECRETARY - GENERAL OF LOGISTICS
AJ Retonel is a first year Political Science Public Law at Muir College. This is her first year in MUN, and is excited in gaining more experience in debate and negotiations. Outside of MUN she enjoys going to concerts (Symphony, KPOP, K-Indie), creating music, and going to cafes.
Eva Christy
DEPUTY UNDER - SECRETARY - GENERAL OF EXTERNALS
Eva Christy is a first year student in Seventh College with an undeclared major. She was involved in MUN throughout high school and loves learning about current events through MUN. Outside of MUN she enjoys playing tennis, cooking (and eating), and crocheting.
Tristan DeJarnatt
DEPUTY UNDER - SECRETARY - GENERAL OF COMITTEES
Tristan DeJarnatt is currently a 3rd year Transfer student at UCSD's Marshall College, studying Political Science with an emphasis in American Politics. She has been involved in MUN at Riverside City College and has continued at UCSD since Fall 2024. She has served as both delegate and chair in various conferences. In her free time, she likes to crochet and play the Sims 4.
John Mortimer
CRISIS DIRECTOR
John Mortimer is a second year Political Science Data Analytics student at Eleanor Roosevelt College. He is minoring in European studies and possibly Earth Sciences. He has been involved in MUN since high school and has a passion for crisis. Outside of MUN he is an avid gamer and backpacker. He spends his breaks caving in the Sierra Nevada and reading epic fantasy.
